On Saturday, April 13, 2013, TEDxHappyValley (#TEDxHV) brought together eleven inspirational speakers from around the world to share personal stories of Radical Resilience. Harnessing the power of storytelling, these eleven voices embodied the incredible spirit, creativity, ingenuity, compassion and courage of human potential at its best. In the face of adversity or confronted by a seemingly insurmountable challenge, these speakers deliberately acted to reject, reverse, or transcend barriers. The consciousness of these choices is the essence of radical resilience embodied in the teachings of the late great psychiatrist, author and Holocaust survivor Viktor Frankl. This was a day of making lemonade out of lemons, designed both to inspire and ignite greater consciousness in all who participated…or watched the talks later.
From the depths of darkness into light comes this inspiring story of one man’s journey through grief and life-threatening depression. Anshuman Das talks about the power of happy thoughts and our freedom to choose.
